Day 1
Durban to the Kruger bushveld
Meet your Sandline host for an early departure from the King Shaka Airport area in a luxury air-conditioned minibus or mini-coach. Travel north with scheduled comfort and meal stops, then settle into your lodge near southern Kruger for dinner. This is a full road-transfer day; no park activity is scheduled. Arrive in Durban the previous day; exact pickup and driving arrangements are confirmed with the transport operator.

Day 2
Your first Kruger safari
After an early breakfast, enter southern Kruger with a qualified safari guide in an open safari vehicle. Explore woodland and river habitats at an unhurried pace, with rest-camp stops for lunch and refreshments. Look for elephants, giraffes, antelope, and the smaller details that bring the bush to life. Return to the lodge for dinner. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

Day 3
River country and big-game tracking
Follow a guide-selected route through southern Kruger, with the Crocodile Bridge or Lower Sabie area considered when practical for the selected lodge. Watch riverbanks and waterholes, pause at designated viewpoints, and enjoy a relaxed lunch break. Routes depend on gate access, road conditions, and the day’s wildlife activity.

Day 4
Skukuza landscapes and birdlife
Explore a different part of southern Kruger, with the Skukuza area considered subject to travel distances. Your guide will balance big-game searching with birdlife, trees, tracks, and wildlife behavior. Rest stops and lunch break up the day before returning to your lodge for a quiet evening.

A slower safari, a closer look
Spend another guided day in the park, taking time at waterholes and revisiting productive habitats. Enjoy longer observation stops and opportunities for photography, with a relaxed midday break. An optional authorized sunset or night drive may be requested separately, subject to availability, eligibility, and additional cost.

Your final full safari day
Make the most of your last full day in Kruger with a flexible guided route shaped by your group’s interests and current conditions. Seek out wildlife you have yet to see, enjoy a final bush lunch stop, and return to the lodge for a farewell dinner and time to share your favorite moments.

Return to Durban
Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for the King Shaka Airport area with planned comfort and meal stops. This is a full road-transfer day. Plan onward flights for the following day unless your operator confirms a suitable connection with a generous buffer. A Durban overnight stay is not included.
